“Maureen is one of the great pioneers of the growing microschool movement. Her excellent book is based on real-world experience building a top-notch microschool from the ground up. As someone who’s seen so many founders struggle to get their microschools off the ground, I can’t recommend this book highly enough to avoid their mistakes!”

“Maureen has taken the proverbial bull by the horns in creating a relevant, viable, and effective solution for every student, every parent, every teacher – everyone who is sick and tired of the one size fits all, traditional, factory-model school system. Her creative and tenacious spirit lives in the success of every student in her school. I am going to insist that my entire faculty and Board of Trustees must read this book – it is that compelling and brilliant! A blueprint for creating 21st century schools.”

“In telling the story of LEADPrep, Maureen O’Shaughnessy makes the clear case and provides a how-to guide for micro-schools. But it’s much more than that. She issues a clear challenge and call for all schools to imagine how much more they could be.”
